Korres is my newfound skincare go to.  Established in 1996, this Greek skincare brand combines the highest quality Greek flora extracts with skincare research.  I’m sharing this with you so you can discover it too!  It’s a little gem in the highly saturated market of skincare products.

I stumbled across the Korres Wild Rose Serum as a tiny sample when I bought a bunch of things from Mecca.  After using this serum for a couple of days, the results were amazing!  It was back to Mecca for a proper Korres haul.

Here’s what I’m reviewing today.

Guava and Basil Lemon Mini Shower Gel 40ml $18 (pinched from a Chrissy gift I gave to my brother), Pomegranate Moisturiser 35ml $41, Wild Rose Brightening and Nourishing Face Oil 30ml $80, Wild Rose, Wild Rose Face and Eye Serum 30ml $66

I love Korres because their ingredients are carefully curated.  What I consider to be ‘rare’ shower gels scents, include Guava and Basil Lemon (= yummy).  Both gels are fresh and tangy but not overpowering.  Best of all, they linger once you hop out of the shower…if I had more product I’d take a bath in this stuff.

Korres’ pomegranate moisturiser is gorgeous in summer (or anytime really).  Not only does it smell great, but the cream-gel formula melts effortlessly into any serums or eye creams applied first.  This makes it the perfect product for layering.

Infused with hyaluronic and salicylic acids, this moisturiser is recommended for oily/combination skin.  The result is a beautiful, balanced and mattified completion, which requires only the tiniest amount of foundation in the summer time.

I’ve left the best till last aka the Korres Wild Rose range.  Apparently, roses are for more than just romance – they’re amazing for skincare too.  I purchased the face oil and serum to help my skin cope with full time work, part time study and limited beauty sleep.

The face oil which was more expensive of the two, I liked but didn’t love.  I was actually after the serum and ended up with the oil – the packaging does look pretty consistent ooops.  Unfortunately the oil does make me break out so I’ve had to use it sparingly on days where I know my skin is drier than usual.  I’ll probably be reaching for this product more in winter.

For me, the Wild Rose eye serum was the clear winner.  I mean this stuff is pure magic.  Having tanned Indian skin which is prone to blemishes and dark circles, this natural product eliminates all of this and leaves me with clear, toned skin.  The formula isn’t sticky and feel super lightweight (just like the Pomegranate Moisturiser).  I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is seeking a relatively inexpensive but effective addition to their skincare regime.
